Tybalt Capulet Obituary

Tybalt Capulet, 21, of the fair city of Verona died yesterday afternoon, the victim of a street fight. The funeral will be held tomorrow at St. Peter's Church.

Capulet is just the latest casualty in the on-going feud between the Capulet and Montague families. According to the Prince, Tybalt was killed by young Romeo Montague after having killed his friend Mercutio. The Prince is outraged that the violence has escalated to the point of such gratuitous bloodshed.

The young Capulet was known for being a passionate young man who ardently defended his family's honor. He was extraordinarily popular among everyone he met--provided they were not Montagues. Lord and Lady Capulet and their young daughter Juliet have been especially vocal in their grief, calling for justice and special courtesy during this trying time. Tybalt was not married, but rumors were rife that at the time of his death a match was impending between him and the daughter of a certain Count. Condolences have been extended to that young lady and her family.

Tybalt's killer, Romeo Montague, has been banished by the Prince. However, it is rumored that Lady Capulet intends to take further action against her cousins killer.
